I am Karolina.
For the past 18 years I have been studying, teaching and professionally performing a variety of Indian traditional art forms.
'In creative body' was established to spread the knowledge of traditional performing arts and create out of them a new multicultural language of movements.

Kalari is an ancient martial art from south India. Since 2005 I have been receiving the knowledge directly from the source, the traditional masters from Kerala. Between 2005-2012 I completed the thekkan kalari style under guidance of Thankappan Assan and Ajith Kumar. From 2013 to 2019, I completed studying the vadakkan style from Shaji K

I also give kalari massages and basic treatments.

I am a certified yoga teacher and have experience in teaching since 2010. I offer regular group and private classes, offer workshops in person or online with students of different levels, age and cultural backgrounds.
My main interest in teaching is focused on correct alignment. If physical alignment is combined with proper breathing and relaxation of the mind, it can give unbelievable body expansion. The work on the physical body is just the beginning, from there you can start your journey inwards, in search of your deeper self.
I teach Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha yoga and Vinyasa flow.

I am using traditional and modern body techniques to find unlimited possibilities of movements that are not blocked by the conditions of one particular technique and obstacles of one's mind.
That comes from both, an alive and open body, as well as improvisation that comes from the unknown.
I am very interested in exploration of somatic dance.

My approach is also holistic and very individual, it can be taken as a releasing tension treatment or just simply relaxing and energising. I am using ayurvedic oils, as well as aromatherapy oils, it is selected according to personal needs.

Courses and events
Kalari salutation online course!
Starting date 6th of May.
In 4 weeks, 4 sessions once a week, you will learn puthara vandana, traditional kalari salutation.
Each session will start with warms up, 2 leg exercises and learning the sequence.
At the end of course you will recive video with the sequence, so you can keep practicing at home.
Contribution is: 35 Euros/ 3000 INR
